What is the Oogwai TikTok Campaign Manager?

It is a guided builder that lets a signed-in Oogwai user create and launch TikTok ad campaigns without leaving Oogwai. You pick your workspace and ad account, then move through five steps — campaign, ad group, creative, ad and launch — and Oogwai talks to the TikTok Marketing API on your behalf.

Do I need a TikTok Ads account?

Yes. You run ads in your own TikTok advertiser account, connected to your Oogwai workspace. Oogwai brokers the requests to TikTok using your connected account; it never holds your card details.

With your existing Oogwai account — the same login used for Oogwai Analytics. Sign in with Google and the builder unlocks.

What are the five steps?

1) Campaign — set the objective and budget. 2) Ad group — define audience, placement, schedule, bidding and optimisation goal. 3) Creative — upload the image that will run. 4) Ad — write the copy, choose a call to action and landing page, and pick the TikTok identity. 5) Launch — set the campaign live.

When do my ads actually start spending?

Launching sets the campaign to enabled, but TikTok will not spend until a valid payment method and billing are set up on your TikTok ad account. Billing is configured on TikTok's side.

Which campaign objectives are supported?

The creatable auction objectives: Reach, Traffic, Video views, Lead generation, Engagement, App promotion, Web conversions and Product sales.

What image formats can I use?

JPG, JPEG or PNG, under 50 MB, with width by height no more than 3,686,400 pixels (for example 1440 by 2560). Each file name must be unique on your ad account.
